Suicide Prevention

Explore How to Explain Suicide to a Child or Teen: Strong4Life designed this resource to help parents and caregivers navigate difficult conversations about suicide with young people. The resource provides age-appropriate guidance for explaining suicide clearly and honestly while creating a safe, supportive space for children and teens to ask questions and express their emotions. Caregivers can learn practical ways to validate feelings, offer reassurance, recognize when additional support may be needed, and remind young people that they do not have to manage difficult emotions alone.

THANK YOU FROM THE RESILIENT GEORGIA TEAM!
