Ashley Jackson

Resilient Communities of Marshland Georgia

Supporting: Bulloch, Camden, Glynn, Liberty, Long, and McIntosh

Ashley Jackson is a dedicated community leader committed to improving outcomes for children and families across Glynn County and Southeast Georgia. As the Executive Director and Coordinator for Family Connection of Glynn County, she focuses on building capacity through communication, literacy, and access to basic needs. Ashley leads strategies such as the “Take 5” early literacy program, the “Kinder Carnival” kindergarten enrollment initiative, and the “Handle With Care” hygiene and laundry support program in partnership with Glynn County Schools.

Known for her ability to unite partners, Ashley facilitates collaborative meetings, develops community resource hubs, and organizes large-scale events such as the annual Family Connection Resource Fair, Enrichment Days with Parks & Recreation, and family-focused outreach initiatives. Her communication efforts, including newsletters and social media campaigns, have reached thousands of residents while strengthening awareness of local services.

Beyond her role with Family Connection, Ashley proudly serves as a Co-Chair for Leadership Glynn (Class of 2024–25), collaborating with government, public safety, business, and nonprofit leaders to support community growth and civic engagement. She has served on multiple community boards and advisory groups, including the Selden Park Advisory Board, and continues to champion partnerships that support mental wellness, basic needs access, and youth development.

An advocate for innovation and sustainability in community-based programming, Ashley is passionate about trauma-informed practices, capacity-building, and aligning resources to help families thrive. Outside of her professional commitments, she is an entrepreneur, content strategist, and mentorship advocate who enjoys spending quality time with her family and finding creative ways to make a positive impact where she lives, works, and serves.
