Michael Powell

Mike Powell serves as the lead for the Resilient West Central Coalition and brings nearly two decades of experience in community collaboration, training, and systems-building. He is the Executive Director for Pike County Family Connection, where he coordinates cross-sector partnerships focused on healthy children, school readiness and success, strong families, and thriving communities. Mike is an authorized facilitator for Connections Matter, HOPE, Courage to Care and Darkness to Light, and serves on the Pike County Health Department Board, Pike County Optimist Club Board, and the Pike County Chamber of Commerce. He holds a Master of Arts in Religious Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Education from Athens State College. A lifelong community connector, Mike lives in Pike County with his wife Debbie.
