Tara Hannon

Resilient West Central

Supporting: Butts, Henry, Fayette, Lamar, Pike, Rockdale, Spalding, and Upson

Tara Hannon serves as the Director of Programs for Fayette FACTOR, where she leads the development and implementation of community-based initiatives focused on youth and family well-being. She brings a strong background in prevention, parent education, and recovery-oriented systems of care, with a focus on creating coordinated, data-informed strategies that strengthen protective factors across the community.



Tara is a Certified Prime For Life Instructor and a Certified Triple P (Positive Parenting Program) Provider at both Level 3 and Level 4, serving families with children ages 0–12 and adolescents ages 12–17. Through this work, she equips parents and caregivers with practical tools to support healthy development, improve communication, and navigate behavioral challenges.



In addition to her clinical and educational roles, Tara serves as the Project Director for the Drug-Free Fayette (DFF) Coalition, where she oversees strategic prevention efforts addressing youth substance use, including vaping, alcohol, and other drug-related challenges. She is also the Project Director for The Lighthouse Recovery Community Organization (RCO), which provides peer support services for youth, young adults, and families, and works to expand access to recovery resources across the region.



Tara is an active member of the Fayette Youth Behavioral Health Alliance, contributing to cross-sector collaboration aimed at improving mental health outcomes and strengthening the continuum of care for young people. As a co-lead for the Resilient West Central Georgia Regional Coalition, she is committed to advancing trauma-informed approaches across systems, ensuring that communities are equipped to recognize, understand, and respond to the impact of trauma. Her work emphasizes regional alignment, sustainable partnerships, and the implementation of evidence-based, trauma-responsive strategies that promote resilience and long-term well-being for children, families, and communities.
